Shoring Systems

Shoring Systems

Solid foundations begin with proper shoring. When prioritising safety and structural integrity, SPI Equip offers the expertise to equip your project with top-tier shoring systems. Our commitment lies in providing adjustable, high-strength solutions that fortify and secure your building’s framework, ensuring the safety of crews while constructing enduring structures.

Understanding Shoring
Shoring systems serve as temporary structures crucial for supporting and stabilizing unstable or weakened buildings and structures during construction, renovation, or excavation projects. They create a safe working environment by preventing collapse when walls or sections of buildings are removed or altered. Shoring methods vary, including timber posts, steel props, waler beams and hydraulic jacks.

Types of Shoring

Several shoring approaches are commonly used:

  • Timber Shoring: Utilises wooden posts, horizontal walers, and diagonal braces. It’s simple and economical.
  • Hydraulic Shoring: Employs adjustable metal jacks for height adaptability.
  • Scaffolding Shores: Uses steel tubes and couplers for versatile configurations.
  • Trench Shoring: Relies on aluminium hydraulic shores to reinforce trenches.

C50 & C60 Shoring Systems

At SPI Equip, our shoring systems are locally tested to meet AS3610 standards. We highly recommend our C50 and C60 hydraulic shoring systems for commercial construction and renovation projects requiring sturdy, adjustable, and safe solutions.

C50 Frame

A durable and robust conventional shoring system, available in heights of 1.2m (3 feet 11 inches) and 1.8m (5 feet 11 inches). Tested locally to AS3610, approved for single and multi-height use. Frames are made with high tensile steel, with a typical width of 1.2m for easy loading on trucks (2.4m width).

C60 Frame

A high-load conventional shoring system offering durability, robustness, and ease of erection and stripping. Heights range from 0.9 metres (3 feet) to 2.1 metres (7 feet). Tested locally to AS3610, approved for single and multi-height use. Frames are made of high tensile steel, with a typical width of 1.2 metres (4 feet).
